Just goes to show you....You shouldn't beleave everything you read.
Even though it says 'so and so, can train no further in whatever'....if it shows up as a choice....click on it...  When you can not train any further....it dosen't show up.

Mummies in the coffin area. YES, all mumies can drop all anks. YES, if you are patient enough then you can get a particular ankh from any mummy by killing it repeatedly. Sometimes, you have to be really patient.
Note: You can wait for an ankh at a mummy in a coffin but not at mummies "at large", which will appear later in the game. Possible reason: 1. The loot is created when the mummy is created. 2. If the mummy is in the coffin then the mummy is created when you open the coffin. 3. If you spot a mummy at large then the mummy is "already here" so that it is too late for saving the game and trying to get an ankh.

Yes Packrat is right just click on it and they will train you. it shouldn't let you train after 20. then you use anks to get up to 24. you can get your fortude to 25 by using the idol of bongu in the boogre prison. it may give you 1 or 2 traits also. Just put some boogre brew on it and it will work.

I tried to get multiple gifts from the Idol...It only let me have 1 per character.
So I opted for Gaintstrike ....

The idol cannot offer anything more valuable than the Giantstrike trait. Period.
