Hello, Everyone. I know it's been a long time since I've posted here, but I have popped in to look once in a while. I've been a very busy boy- especially now with my new job, but that's not why I'm posting now.

I'm very touched by your posts, and I want to cry as I think back to my kitty cat, "Princess", a plain, gray tiger cat that just loved me to no end, and I loved her dearly also. However, when she got very old(early 20's, I think)she became ill and we took her to the vet, but a little too late. They did surgery, but it didn't go very well. She was practically comatose. I was at work when the vet called to inform the family of her condition. My dad just gave the order to have the cat put down without any notification to anyone else in the family, especially me, who was closest to the cat, and I was there when we had to have other sick cats put down. I wanted to have been there if it had to be done, but I was never given the chance. I rushed to the vets, but it was too late. I was very angry with my dad, but I know that he has great difficulty dealing with the issues of sickness and death, so I tried to temper my emotions toward him.

A short time after that I had a dream that, as I was entering Heaven(God willing), there came "Princess" running up to me and jumping into my arms! It was very beautiful, and I woke up crying tears of joy.

I thank you all for bringing back some painful and beautiful memories that I will always cherish. I firmly believe that God, in His wisdom will reunite us with our beloved pets in the life to come. I hope you find peace, Kar Mod, in this, your time of loss. May God bless you.
