*sigh* Watched it at school before class started... never have managed to understand why these movies always degenerate into a bunch of screenshots instead of actual movie type things... after about 30 seconds it was pretty much just a slideshow... Also not very great resolution... oh, well, at least there was something...

This is becoming too much, I get numb in the legs every time I think about playing the game. I just hope its released soon.

I don't think that you watched the same one at school. The link on this thread takes you to the games intro movie a full FMV job that looks absolutly stunning.

That movie is fun but if the game is like that I doubt the minimum specs they're talking about could support it , lol! The intro movie to BG1 is also damned impressive, remember... Well, I'm looking forward to NwN 's 3D engine in any event, especially if it uses that sort of floating, infinite perpsective camera angle that you see in Homeworld and Shogun: Total War.

The intro was nice, but I expected a bit more from it.

well how can you really give something a story when you plan on letting the players write the stories for themselves? The same thing happened with PSO, the intro and ending of the actual game really suck but most people end up playing for thousands of hours on end!

Am I alone in not wanting to watch the intro before I have the game? I always like loading the game and just kicking back and watching it for the first time, it would spoil it for me to see it in advance.

I agree, but since this intro hardly has anything to do with the game....
