i just bought the game today, personally it is practically a whole new settings in 3d tactical strategy game. first and formost, the battle is nearly similar like shogun or medival total war yet the economic development is in real time wherein you are placed in a real 3d world environment for you to conquer cities(what else??). and there are 400 cities to conquest and 6 major powers in the area
personal comment: the placements are already there that you can barly enhance anything the cities are already in place, you cannot improve it limited economics and diplomacy still you should try it, it is a new style of playing

This game also already in shelves but I didn't buy it because I prefer my strategy game to be turn based.
