Renal Bloodscalps collector will wait for a short time. A day perhaps(only done this briefly in a aborted theif game) any longer and you may lose your guild.

The one exception to stronghold timers is that they all go on hold while you are in Chapters 4 and 5. So if you're worried about moving along in the game before finishing the stronghold, you'll be okay. Just leave right after you pay dues so that if you need some travel time at the beginning of Ch. 6, you'll be okay.

And why wouldn't those guild-people be able to pay? Why do I have to come?

Note that if you lose your Thief-stronghold, you can buy it back from Renal for a high amount of money.
And Vedran, you have to get back there because you have to pay the fee out of your own pocket. |

Is the improved thiefs quild any good? i remember that the original wasnt that special(clearly the game desingers put alot of effort into the keep and sphere).
