Hi all
I've been fighting the swarms of beholders in Chapter 5 near the Svirfneblins, mostly successfully, but they eventually manage to cast an imprisonment spell on my character, I can get him back using a Freedom spell, but he promptly walks off for good. Anyone know why this is and where he goes, I don't really want to loose him (and his equipment !) as he's a very good fighter with a cloak of relection and only have 5 in my party for tackling the Drow. any suggestions much appreciated |

I hate imprisonment or petrification, it really screws the game's flags. You'll have to keep him from becoming imprisoned somehow, keep reloading until you win the battle without being imprisoned, or export him before the battle and reimport him again afterwards. You're talking about a pre-gen NPC in multiplayer, right?

Actually I'm playing a 'single-player multi-player' game. I imported my character from BG1 and generated the other 5. The pre-generated charatacters are never any real good !
Anyway he's not the principal character, I might try the beholders with him wearing the cloak of reflection. EIther way it's a real bitch, I guess you could chalk this up as a bug.! |
