Not sure if this belongs here or the War Forum. Mods feel free to move it there, as if you need permission from me.

Not sure if all the facts are, well, factual about the celebs, something doesnt seem right about Michael Moore dropping our of college. But I do believe just about everything is true about Bush's cabinet.

Amusing link - but let's face it it's twaddle

The "author" would like to represent the view that these people hold opinions that are worthless, and the proof she provides is on the basis of a bunch of letters and how "she" writes their CV's. I ask you, is the same argument true if I were to say :

Davros B.E (Chem), Ass. Dip. App. Sc.
Born in OZ 1963. Graduated Mackay Techncal College 1985 with Assciate Diploma of Applied Science (Sugar Technology). Eight years of distinguished service as an Industrial Chemist for a Sugar Milling corporation. Enrolled at Queenland University 1999 - graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) - First Class Honours. Recently awarded for 10 years of excellent service to an American based multi-national corporation, where he oversees the production operations aspect of the largest and most profitable processing installation of the conglomerate.

AND

Iron Ranger
15 years old student

BTW - for the record, the answer is NO - both our viewpoints are equally important and equally valid.

Question Mark

I agree with you Dav, but celebs here do seem to think that they are the neuveau (sp?) nobility. The truth is, they are no more important than you or me. They just have a larger and more sympathetic microphone.

First let me as ask a question, why is it that in every post I make my age comes up?

Secondly, nope it wouldnt matter. Like NightStalker said, the movie stars seem to think there opinon is more important than everyone elses. Its not, you know that and I know that and everyone does...Except them of course. And its about the hypocracy of Hollywood as well. They are constantly calling Bush and his cabinet morons, idiots, ect.

All the artical does is prove them wrong.

Firstly you seem to be the one with the age complex - I was only showing how a CV can be slanted.

Secondly, the last line that I quoted is very simply wrong.

The article DOES prove that these guys have better educational CV's than these other guys. The article DOES NOT prove anyone (from Hollywood) wrong. Your belief says they are, you have lots of support from certain quarters, but I repeat, THE ARTICLE does nothing to prove anyone wrong. Education level does not equal correctness. It's simple maths really

Yes Davros, they are wrong. For this simple reason. They have called Bush and his cabinet stupid, they not.

If you call someone stupid, and they are not, you are wrong.

Please to re-read my post - you think they are wrong - fine, that is your belief. It was your belief before you read the article, it was your belief after reading the article, and I am betting that it will in all probability forever be your belief.

The article fails to PROVE that correct though. If you wish to continue to deny the fact of that last sentence that is your right.

All the article achieves is to slander some actors reputations. Mind you - it does a good job at that

Edit to add a mssing "y" .

Further note - the point about the actors being wrong is perfectly valid for you to make - the point about the article proving it is simply incorrect.
