In the IWD Strat guide it names 6 books,
Manual of Bodily Health: Permanent +1 Constitution Manual of Gainful Exercise : Perm. +1 Strength Manual of Quickness: Perm. +1 Dexterity Tome of Clear Thought: Perm. +1 Intelligence Tome of Leadership and Influence: Perm. +1 Charisma Tome of UNderstanding: Perm. +1 Wisdom None of these are listed in the book on where these books are located(unlike the BG2 Strat guide, which list where to find everything) so if anyone knows where any of these books are I and many other people would greatly appriciate it. |

Do yourself a favor and chuck those strat guides in the trash, they're almost always full of wrong information. There aren't any tomes in the game, so don't bother looking for them. There are several types of potions that will change your stats though, and those are highly sought after. There's also a potion that will give you +1 Constitution, magic resistance and so on, so keep your eyes open for them.

Actually, there is one Magical Tome in the entire Icewind Dale Series (including Trials of the Luremaster)... just thought I'd mention it.
