It's good to see that when they designed and built the pipeline that they took pride in what they were doing. I'm sure then worrying about earthquakes wasn't a major concern when they were building. In this case doing things the right way prevented an unlooked for disaster.

Those are some big cracks in the road. It would have been one big mess if that pipeline would have broke.

Nothing comparable with the Alaska quake, but South Carolina had a 4 point something quake last night centered on an island just off Charleston. Quakes in the Carolinas aren't something you hear about too often.
