When I enter one of the Sea's Bounty Tavern, this dude puts a curse on me. How long do I have to find the solution to healing her?

It is not hard at all, just follow Jaheira's advice on where to go and who to talk to.

try talking to the wizard admin at the council of 6 building for some backstabbing help. Then go to the house in the slums near the ship that is abandond.

I have killed the man who is responsible for the cursing. She said she needed resting so I rested and when we wake up, the curse icon is still there?! What do I do? Will it eventually go away?

Hint: Listen to what Jaheira said when you dealt with Polyer...

You need to rest for a *full* day, i.e. three consecutive rest periods of 8 hours each.
