In all seriousness, give "The Victim" a chance in a format that can end up helping those that you feel so deeply for. Or even in a format that can just touch people with the deep felt passion with which you wrote it. Either way, you are sure to touch lives. I would hope that you would want to help rather than hurt those who read your works.

A lady I know is into depressing stories and even though she means well when she offers them to me as gifts, I feel so deeply for the victims in them that it hurts and my life has had enough...I am on to feeling the good things before my time is up.

Personally I am writing a compilation of short stories, all of them true and most of them dealing with the pain of a child's suffering. I won't print one seperately from the rest however as, together, they all lead to a better place, happier times and spirit that is filled with peace. Any story with a horrific beginning can have a happy ending...I have my own life as a prime example of such.
