The truth i didnt like any of the D&D games from Bioware.
Playing an RPG in wich you control a party of adventurers does not lend itself well to the isometric view that these games have. (IMHO) I enjoy the first person RPG like the Wizardry series. But saying that, i recently played Dungeon Siege and liked a lot about it. Its not much of an RPG but they were able to make an enjoyable isometric rpg-lite game. Maybe its because you only contrtol 1 party member that i didnt find the isometric view as bad. But prolly the reaason i liked it more is that u are able to move the camera in any angle u wish. i ended up playing the game almost in a third person perspective. It was great. But like i said before the game is very low on RPG elements so i lost interest in about 3 weeks. but i played the game in multiplayer an average of 8 hours a day for those 3 weeks. Now is NeverWinterNights similar to DS as far as letting you change the camera angle. If it is then it will rock. If they made a game that blended some of the usability of DS and the RPG elemets of D&D games. It would be the best online game to play.

No, im just wondering if NWN will have some of the interface type options that DS had.
I really didnt like BG2, i liked the story and i like the D&D rules system of play. I just cant get into a game with that type of interface and 2d look.

Since NWN is made by bioware, I have a pretty much assumption it going to end up crap like BG2 , Planescape and IWD.
however, from screenshot I gather from gamespot. It's mostly just fighting. I think. which is good. |

Well NWN is a 3D gaming world just as DS is, if that is what you're asking. Don't know about the camera angels, but you'll only be controlling your character so no party members to worry about micromanaging. I think NWN will be a fine game... I just hope it runs on my computer

Whether or not NWN is mostly fighting will vary depending on which sort of comapign you play - with all the 3rd party stuff that should appear anyone will be able to find something they like. Except for people who go out of there way to find thing they dont like, but theres no pleasing some people. Planescape? Crap? Mad.
