As for the date option, I'm disappointed. I wanted to set it to Heidi Klum

Here in Europe it's dd-mm-yyyy too but actually it is MORE logical and more scientific the other way round.
This is because the bigger units are in front thus telling you rough information first and getting more detailed with every additional information.
year -> month -> day -> hour -> minute -> second -> milisecond -> ...
this is how it works for scientists
However in real life we "month" and "year" is used less often than "day" as they do not change so fast. If somebody asks you: "What date is it?" you're probably going to respond with something like: "the 26th"
This is why many people like to put day and month before year in date.

So much talk so little information - and so boring

Bugger it all, I was tricked. I edited my profile and then had to cut out my beloved Natural Born Killers quote to get my sig within 250 characters. Was I tricked? If not, how did my sig get that long to begin with?

You could also get rid of one or both of those smileys in your sig. They add a lot to the amount of words if the URL to the pic is long. I know, because I have a pic and two hyperlinks in my sig, and had to take out my only line of text and shorten the links significantly. So taking out the smiley might be enough to be able to get your quote back.
BTW, Z, great idea to restrict the amount of text in a sig!

Wow, I didn't do anything to that setting. I guess it's now built in to the code. Weird, but kinda good anyway, since we only allow 3 lines of text

Question Mark

Since we are talking sigs and profiles ....

Z here's a suggestion, why not filter the sig by displayed text. That way people with hyperlinks can still use up to three lines in their sig. A (not so) simple regular expression should work well in excluding the < a > and < /a> parts.

Just a thought ..... great job though!

Sigh, Melusinchen, there is a much easier way to check your local time. Just look at your wristwatch or at any of the at least half a dozen other clocks that I am sure can be found around your flat. If you have set them correctly they ALL should display your local time!!! Now, isn't that much more convenient than having to first boot your computer and then log on to IW every single time you just want to know which time it is? See, I just knew in the end you would understand and agree with me, good gal.

Our Melusinchen, she is trying sooo hard, but it does still show sometimes that she is a true blonde after all.
