Okay, I have recently discovered the neat little gadget on WinXP that allows one to make a home video and it has alot of little thingies you can do to it to make it fade in and out, or flip page or whatever. Adding music to it is also there. Well, I have some general inquiries to make if you are one of those that has used this program oft.

1. Why did I find my internet connection disconnected (cable) after I exited the program? I had to literally tell it to connect again!

2. What are some general need-to-knows about this program?

3. My digital camera records in Quicktime Format when making video, and will not play with WinMedia. Is there a way for me to work around this?

1. MS are scum who like to mess you around.

2. It is a MS program so will:
- annoy you will "helpful" features, wizards and advice
- contain more gloss than useful features
- will probably adhere to no standards other than MS's internal ones so will frustrate you if you try to use the products in any other program
- avoid at all costs

3. Quicktime format is almost as annoying as MS formats because it is proprietory so no decent programs will read it. Its only redeeming feature is that it's not from MS. Get a camera that records in an open standard.

What? Only two? It takes four out of five doctors on the commercial where the squirrel takes a bite outta the guy's nards. Your side needs two more votes.
