My stereo is freaking out on me this evening. Never has given me trouble ever before. It's a Pioneer, and has a cartridge that holds six CDs in it. Can't play anything tonight, it is automatically switching from one CD to the next instantly, one after another, no playing any music, just switching switching. I tried to stop it and focus on one CD, then is says "no disc"! Keep thinking maybe I hit some button on the remote that may have messed things up, but have gone through the button gambit at this point, nothing has changed. Does this kind of thing happen often? Is there some cleaner cartridge or something I can use to clean the parts that change the CDs? Anyone got ANY ideas what the problem is? Time to get a new stereo (although this one is only 7 years old).? Everything else works, the cassette player and the radio, just the CDs don't work. Radio sucks tonight too, waaah, I don't like Alanis Morrisette! help me...

Or perhaps try and call or email the customer service of Pioneer and tell them your problem. That could provide answers as well

Well, if you can remove all the cds, grab your cd-rom clearer disc (If you got one) and palce in inside (Oh and play it). Wolla! It should work or cause the thing to burst into flame...But really it should work I mean your cd drive can take music cds.
