I'm in the dungeon under the main castle. Past the point of no return, if you know what I mean: levels 4 and 5 (with the jackals and gems). Wow, this is a nasty place.
I have tried sleeping several times; but get the big lime green message "You may not rest here." I haven't tried going back to Dungeon 3, yet. Just wondering, is there anywhere on these 3 levels I can sleep before I meet the LureMaster again? Spoil me if that's what it takes for me to know the answer. Thanks! -------------------- What's a party, without a song? Bards ROCK! Party On!! |

If I am not mistaken, there is an old Jackal you can talk to. He will let you sleep while he stands guard over your party.
I have forgotten which level he is on though. |

He's in the level with the escape portal (the last level), in a tunnel near the middle right side.

Thanks, Dundee and silencer!
I know who you are talking about from peeking at a walkthrough, and he is on dungeon level 4. I haven't talked to him, yet; because I inadvertantly shot past him by walking the perimeter of the level. Heh, heh, heh, I hope his helpful attitude won't be impacted by the number of his racial relations that I've butchered. I'll go see him, now.... -------------------- What's a party, without a song? You should be fine Noble Nick. That old jackal won't bother you over the number of his kin you have dispatched. lol In fact, talking to that old guy is the ONLY reliable place to sleep on that entire level!!

Ah the Memories!!!! The old Jackal makes the level a little easier being able to rest.
I remember first time entering the area and not being able to rest, morale is low even with a bard, your almost out of spells, and hit points, than panic sets in, and you wander around delusional until you find him. [ 09-15-2004, 11:23 AM: Message edited by: pritchke ] |
