Hi everybody!!! It's pouring down rain here---which is fine if you're a psychotic duck. Grey and gloom and my garden spot looks more like a swamp than anything else!

Yeah.. those were really humiliating.. it's like I let him in and the visitors would go comment on how he looks and all that, then suddenly he approaches them, ooh they think he is gonna be a good doggy, no. He just wants your shin

Bahamut, parrots are great companions, but they are a LOT of hard work! They live a very long time (some can live as long as 80 years - mine has a life expectancy of 30ish) and behave like 2 year old kids throughout. Jasper can be sweet as anything one minute, 'preening' my fingernails, lowering his head so I can scritch him, then the next he's having a tantrum and has his beak locked around my finger. When I'm not giving him attention he screams!

Mmmm.. how does he come on to me? Not embarrassing, he's just a bird and it's spring so he wants to mate. They do this little dance where they strut up and down turning in circles, squeaking, with their wings held out from their body. Then they 'feed' you - ie. they will start plunging their head and vomit up half digested food for you (that's how they feed their mate and chicks when they have a nest).

It sounds quite disgusting, but it's not half as bad as having a horny dog clamped onto your leg!

Hi Garnet!! Same weather here, but no surprise in England
How have you been? I think you've just missed Gala though, so you can't exchange recipes just yet.
Heh-heh, I bet that was quite a shock for them Bahamut!!
