ready to make a Baldurs gate frisby

ok i got my level 4 mage i got some money so i decide to go to high hedge and buy some scrolls but for some reson i can learn only 3 lvl 1 spells doesn't matter witch spells i learn any 3 spells and i can't learn forth ..i learned all 2nd and 3rd LvL spells no prob but no matter what i do i can't learn that 4th lvl1 spell and before some asks yes he his a full mage

If I understand you correctly, you're trying to memorise another level 1 spell? At fourth level, you can only memorise:

3 x level 1
2 x level 2

Memorisation allows you to actually cast spells, rather than reading scrolls. You won't be able to make scrolls in this game, but it is a source of new spells for you to learn so that you may memorise them to cast later. Also, you should be aware Dragis, that your character can only have so many spells per level in his/her spellbook; the actual number is decided by your character's intelligence. So, if that stat isn't too high, think before you really commit it to your book. (Though I'd imagine that like most players, your mage's Int is 18 or 19.)

NO imtrying to wright 4th scrol but the opyion to write isnt even on the scroll and my int is 16 and i only have 11 lvl 1 spells learned

And he isnt a specialist mage? You are sure you arent using a priest scroll to learn from? Which spell is it anyway?

It didnt matter idid it in several different orders one s i could learn before if i reloaded and tred to learn them after the first three i couldnt write it.

Andrewas may be right. It's easy to get confused between priest and mage scrolls. Happens to everyone sooner or later.

Just in case: the maximum number of spells is per level, so 11 first level, 11 second level etc. I mention this, but I doubt that you've got 11 fourth level spells already.

Sorry if im bieng confusing let me try again. I have a lvel four full mage who has 11 lvl 1 spees already learned and im trying to teach him another one (that i know is a mage scroll i.e. shocking grasp) but the game doesnt give me the option to write the scroll. Is the fact that my int. is only at 16 really hendering me that much I mean I cant believe 2 points is making that big of a diff.?

I'm afraid it is. You can learn a maximum of 14 spells/level with Int 18; access to all spells only comes with Int 19. Only one race can give you access to that high an initial value: the gnome.

You might find tomes along the way that can increase certain characteristics. There is only one for intelligence however, so you will have needed an initial value of 18 for your character to get that to learn all spells later in the game.

You could use gatekeeper to alter the stat.
