SPOILER:
> > > > > Assuming you are talking about Nalia's keep, you can force attack the golems one by one (only the one you attack will turn hostile), remember 2 things: 1) only magical blunt weapon will hurt clay golems 2) once you complete the quest for Nalia (i.e. cleaned out the keep), the treasure will be gone!! So you have to take the treasure before the final confrontation in the cellar. The only golem that might give you some trouble is the iron golem. If you are not confident, then have all your party memebrs outside the golem room, have any character with fast movement rate (i.e. hasted, monk, barbarian) run in and grab all 3 treasures at the back. The key to success is timely pausing, as soon as the you reach the pillar with the treasure and it can be put into your inventory, hit SPACE BAR immediately (this will pause the game for you and you can grab the treasure without the potential of error/waste of time). Sending in a cleric with santurary casted might also work, although my fingers are cross regarding this method of retriving.... ------------------ Long live H22A1!!!!! |

If you are not interested in the xp then simply get your cleric to cast sanctuary. The golems cant touch the cleric while the spell is in effect. Simply take the treasure and leave the room. NB: only the cleric is protected so only the cleric may enter the room.

Yeah, 'sanctuary' works a treat, but you miss out on the xp of killing the golems. ONLY send in the one protected by 'sanctuary' though, and keep the rest well out of range of the door! No good being in 'sanctuary' if the door is blocked by 6 Golems!

As suggested above, if you don't want to fight the golems then sanctuary is best. Alternatively, grab all the treasure from the 3 pillars and then drink a potion of invisibility before sauntering casually out of the room.
As with sanctuary, only send one character into the room to get the items. (Make sure you have enough free inventory slots first - it sounds like a stupid thing to say, but I forgot to free up enough slots once and it ended in disaster as I couldn't grab everything in one go). ------------------ Time is an illusion. I find invisibility potions/spells very useful with golems-like in the bottom of the planar sphere.
