Rubbish. I admit it's entertaining trying to follow various interpretations of Nostrodamus, but it just don't make sense...

It is kind of odd how people discount Nostradamus but blindly follow religeon. Unlike religion, Nostradamus is right once in a while.

I can't believe anybody would give credence to Nostradamus and his predictions. If you look at the anagram in his name it spells trod on Ms USA. It is obvious that Nostradamus was not only a woman hater but against the United States as well. All of his predictions are thus a hoax to confuse the issues so that America will fall prey to the Anti-Christ that he is "supposedly" helping us to identify.

Need I remind you people of the man who, through the magnificent art of numerology, proved beyond doubt that the world would end in 1998?

Not quite, but you are totally wrong...
You see when they came up wiht "Bin" for Bin-laden int he spelling they forgot that the I could easily be switched out for an E except after a C and therefore it's actually BEN for the first name as dictated backwards upside down and 3 leters to the left of the umteenth quatrain. Hence we take the idealism of Satan being the anti christ and apply specific letters of the same ruling from the word and we get STEIN... Therefore ladies and gentlemen... the third antichrist is infact... Ben Stein... And now I shall reveal his TRUE evil form to you ITS HIDDEOUSE! LOOK AWAY CHILDREN LEST YOU GO BLIND AND BE SMITTEN! |

The article went on some rules of anagrams, but used it over a few times in order to come to his idea of proof of something. We could do that with anything in a word assossiation type game, making peace becoem somthing else. with rules such as "A letter becoming a double letter" or "Changing one letter per anagram fixing" with several tries any word could be produced.
While the theories might sound good, there have been otehr similar ones with 'President' Blair as the anti-christ, devil or a demon.

unfortunately this is the same as when you get david blaine go up to people and guess the number they are thinking, sorry to spoil this for some people but he isnt reading their minds, they miss out the 40 takes where he gets it wrong, they only actually have about 6 numbers to choose from, so its pot luck for him but its 1/6 chance so when he gets it right the people are amazed, in reality hes just shortened the odds in his favour without people realising it (think of a number between 1 - 60 with two even digits, theres a number, i think 48 that people are likely to go for first so he goes with that, noone goes for 0 and odd numbers are out so the odds are cut drastically in blaines favour)
the whole prediction things IMO are the same, the odds of great battles, horseless carriages etc etc for someone with a bit of sense making predictions is easy, shortten the odds in your favour based on what you know and when you get 1 prediction right out of 50 people think your psychic people dwell only on the times when nostradamus was right, he happened to be right about a few things, but there were 100s of times when he was way off the mark, dont see anything about those in history though do we on the other hand i do actually believe in people being psychic to an extent, i have seen the future years before it happened myself so i know for a 100 percent fact its real, but its not controlled and all i saw was someone i met later in life, thats happened a few times, and sometimes i seen events years before they happen, nothing special or shocking particularly, but i seen it, so tell my psychics dont exist and your wrong, experience it yourself and then discount it, but professional ones work on odds and not psychic ability IMO. |
