killing the Guardian

I am trying to kill the guardian and I can't seem to get him down is there certain spells that he is vulnerable to and weapons for that matter. how do you kill this dragon?

I when up against it only yesterday and failed hopelessly. Maybe I'll try again when I'm stronger or can find a better set of tactics. You have to find a weakness to exploit and I hvan't found it - yet.

sorry but who is the guardian? Chahopek?

Here is a trick: memorize all static charges and call lightning you can (around 10) and all outilukes resilient spheres. Cast all static charges and chain lightnings BEFORE the fight. then start fighting. Have the most useless character (or preferably a summoned monster) block the path and cast resilient sphere on him. should chahopek teleport cast resilient sphere again on another to keep him blocked. have bard sing anti fear song. Cast healing spells... etc. Basically just try to keep everyone alive. do not worry about hitting chahopek.. the static charges and call lightning you cast before the fight will be repeating every 10 rounds and will just do your job for you.

Do not use death spells on him, it always crashed my game.
And whatever you do keep him away from anyone with less than 150 HP. He deals some 50 damage with his claws.
Holy Word(I think you should have that now) works wonders here. Memorize it to the max and keep casting that while your other spellcasters cast Lower Resistance and then Skull Traps and Outiluke's Freezing Spheres etc.

IIRC Sunfire worked well, and i think i was able to disintegrte him after a casting of Lower Resistance...or it killed him because of the damage...either way, it got the job done.

OK I don't have a druid nor do I have a cleric I got a wizard, Sorcerer A paladin a fighter a ranger and a rougue the fighter and the ranger are multi class ranger is ranger and fighter and the fighter is also a paladin I need help to get through and I can't even buy my guys enough time to do any damage I have tried electricity lower spell resistance ect. ect. ect. and each time the result is the the same they all assume room temperature in the end.

You are going to have an hard time completing the game without an healer...

You need as much protection spells as possible to beat the guardian. You have two arcane users. Have them cast stone skin on your melee characters, it help a lot.

I think you are going to have a really difficult time with this battle. This is the way Bozos of Bones suggested and you may be able to manage this.

I usually use the druid lightning, static charge, thorn spray, unicorn lance tactic. You may be able to still win without any druids. Do you have any thing to protect against fear? I guess your ranger or paladin may have a spell because without protection from fear your party is doomed. After casting PoFear, spells like stone skin and haste on your best fighters. They may be able to get the job done, just have lots of healing potions and watch the text screen to see who he is attacking. When he attacks them have them move slightly away from his claws but keep him in range of the other fighters. If the wizard and Sorcerer have lower resistances, and damage spells like magic missels these will help. Magic Missels is almost a sure hit and the lower the resistance the more damage it is likely to do.

I hope you know though killing him is not necessary to finish the game
