Also - don't eat anything TOO cold or TOO hot for a week or so. That'll help it not hurt so much.

Thank you! And the reason why they didn't do all 4 at once was that the painkillers started to wear off halfway through the first one... it was NOT PLEASANT. they couldn't give me more, they couldn't stop, so they had to finish as quickly as possible. THey meant to do two, but after what I went through with the first one...

well Kaz, i wish i could say 'dont worry', but i cant since i never had any teeth pulled (likely will though). but if you need to keep from lying down to keep the pain off, im usually available, and when not, well, the pain should keep you awake... but you'll get through this, believe me! its just a massive wave of pain...

Well, I'm back! After sitting in a comfy chair directly in front of the radiator, trying to doze off, the pain was almost gone or maybe the painkillers I took FINALLY began to work (about time too).
Something my brother told me: Do NOT tilt your head to the side where you lost the tooth, I guess because I always hold my head slightly tilted when sitting it hurt worse when I was posting...

Perhaps if I try to speak German, then you will smirk and the pain will go away. Gooten nach mittag mein speile ist nicht gut. (Is it working yet?)
I do hope you feel better. I know what its like. Thank the gods that I was only born with three wisdom teeth!!

Please don't make me laugh, any attempt to move the muscles on the right side of my face just hurts - will have to skip the funny threads for a while. But thank you, it was nicely meant! at least I can smile here

Kaz? I can sympathize about wisdom teeth, ick! Had all mine removed and three at once! All were impacted too, so no simple extractions.. ugh... er.. lets talk about something way more pleasant than teeth.. How's the weather in your part of Germany ? We are having pretty nice Fall weather here in the upper part of New York! But I think it's going to rain today.

Cloudy, noticing the tables are nice and clean
