Looking up answers? Um...

I think they're still really hard because the questions are about such obscure things. Like I knew the Australia ones but there wouldn't be many non-Australians who would. It's kind of not 'general' knowledge but 'extremely specific and specialised' knowledge.

What categories do they have? Maybe there's something that would appeal to people more. I never saw the history/geography - that might be better? What about something like literature or something. If you just have a different category every day then even if you're crap at one one day then you might know more the next day. That might be more fun, which is the point (no it is beating each other!! )

Well, everyone was busy complaining that it's all to americanized, so this is the best I can do to make it fair for everyone, which by looking at the scores it seems to be. Everyone's equally crappy.

Just one request - if (I'm not saying you should, but if) you're going to fiddle around and change the subject to something else, could you warn us a least a day beforehand? Then I know I shouldn't play it early in the morning CET, but play later in the day instead, and to wait for the category to change.

Sure. I'm going to keep it as it is right now for at least a little while longer, just to see how good these questions are.

Question Mark

Even if you don't know the topic, all is not lost.

10 questions. Each question has a .25 chance of being guessed correctly. Therefore, the likelihood that you'll get 5 out of 10 correct simply by guessing is 24.6%. That, at least, would give you a reasonable chance of moderate success.

Sir G, you thief, you! LOL It IS a cool idea, isn't it? I don't usually do trivia stuff but this one's addictive!

Won't let me play on yours because I already did the Oasis one today....hmmm, may need to register under a new name.
