Ok, first of all, I am very glad to be here after a few MONTHS of waiting for that authorization...

anyway though, I have a technical problem, everytime I insert disc no.3, its says C++ error..something something... I thought, "ok, wanna play rough?" then I went to delete BG2 so I will reinstall it once again, and it will (hopefully) work...But...It wont let me delete, it does the deleting process, but the game is still there...
Why? How do I fix it?

Welcome to IW !

Delete the whole BG II - SoA map on your harddrive, though I doubt that you will be able to install BG II again, if the cd gives you such an error.. its 9 of the 10 times corrupted or damaged (scratches).

If you can't play BG II at all, then you should indeed try to re-install the game, if the cd still gives you the C++ error.. then it is corrupted, try cleaning it or otherwise.. bring it to a local hardware store and let them try to fix the cd.

Carefuly (Cant stress that part enough) go into regedit and remove all traces of baldurs gate and interplay. CAREFULY mind.

Have a look at CD3, and if its OK then reinstall. Otherwise youll have to get to replaced or resurfaced.

I did it once and I had to reinstall Baldur's Gate 1.
Which means: make a backup of Registry before editing.
