The Patch

I found it frustrating that many of the tips and helps other players have offered didn't work because of my use of the game patch. I downloaded and used the patch because my game wouldn't work well without it (ha ha, try crashing every 5 minutes).

Well, lo and behold, the patch worked, but no easy gold in town, no easy priest quests, no 6 assassins, no toughen upgrades, etc. What do you think works with the patch and what doesn't? For example, does the lamp work?

I do believe the lamp works with the patch.
If you need gold and are a member of the Bushi Guild, click on Buy special items and stock up on the arrows (Taketsu, or something like that) they sell back for a BIG profit and the Dojo never runs out of stock!

And while they fixed the Jathil bug in Ishad N'ha, I think that over in Brimloch you still have the Stone of Clover bug and Grue Morde from memory that do the same thing.

Treehut -

There is a thread or two on GOLD which should still be on the first page that will tell you ways to make $$$$ even with the patch!

There is also a way (with the patch) to get as many assassin's as you like - but that requires that you email me!
