Congratulations! Keep in mind that those ultrasounds aren't always acurate (even up to the last month). Prepare yourself for the worst but don't let yourself worry. Having a large family (lots of aunts, cousins, in-laws), I've heard doctors say many different things that could go wrong, but they rarely do. BTW, I like both the names you've picked (but keep at least one girls name in mind.)

Congrats on the good news, Arnabas!

Hopefully, you won't have to worry about the bad part. It's scary, but it sounds like the chances are very low, so please don't worry too much over it! Stay positive, and you'll soon have a healthy baby boy in your arms!

Thanks, everyone!
We're staying as positive as we can. We know the chances of anything bad are extremely small, but when emotion comes into play, it seems much bigger.
At least we only have a week left to wait for the test results.

I love the sig, but I hope she doesn't exceed the structural strength of that tube top!

At least that's what I say in public....

Congrats,Arnabas, and don't worry, it does no good. They had to tell you that for fear of getting sued. It's probably just an anomaly of the sonographic image, which, as you know, is pretty fuzzy, anyway. When Will (age 4) was still in utero, they told Galadria that she might have a placenta previa that could cause her to bleed to death. Never happened.

As to the sig, it's cute but makes me feel tired.

Congrats! Well, many of you know that we are expecting our 4th child, and of course the worries arouse. My wifes midwife offered her the tests to check for D.S. and spinal fibroses. We are thinking about wether or not to do it. Either way, we will be parents of this child and love it no matter what. I wish you luck with positive results. I like the names you have selected. My doughter was supposed to be a boy according to an ultrasound, so pick a girls name just in case.
