As my eyes adjust the the dim light I can see Bungleau skulking in an even darker corner.
A glint of new armour at the back. It must be Tasko, he hasn't been to the Gael Serrin for a while but I'm sure that armour won't keep its new lustre for long.
Hey Tasko, did that old pirate , Talrik, end up taking that longtooth hide?
How remiss of me. Barkeep, 5 stout ales for my friends to see the new year in with.

Macoati strides up to the bar and the waiting drinks. Drops a heavy pouch on the bar,"Barkeep, after the current orders are done take the next rounds out of this till it's done. I'm sure it's previous owner would be happy to know it has gone to good use!"

Raises glass, "Happy New Year, all!" Finds a comforatable seat near the fire and settles in for a long night of well wishing and drinking.
