I'm still in the early chapters, but I find it hard to find enough spell scrolls to equip both my bard and my necromancer (I've for instance only found one Magic Missile scroll so far). Is there any mod around that increases the number of scrolls sold in shops (I dont want more spells per se, but more copies of each scroll)? Otherwise I'll just resort to Dalekeeper.

I havent heard of anything like that for IWD, but I think the "Aurils Bane" mod adds a new scroll seller somewhere in the HoW areas, I havent tried it myself, so maybe someone could give better details.

Yeah, Auril's Bane adds a new scroll merchant in the tavern in Easthaven. You should also find an increased quantiy of scrolls through out the game (if you use the MOD).

If you're patient, there's enough scrolls in the game to outfit two arcane casters.

You find plenty of scrolls in the Vale and Orrick has a good supply. There's also a couple of scrolls upstairs in Pomab's Emporium in Easthaven.

Zaleukas,

I second Aerich's estimate. In fact, it may be an under-estimate. There are plenty of spell scrolls out there. The Vale has many scrolls, Orick has many, Orrick's inventory changes, and his inventory duplicates many spells you find out of town. There are even more scrolls in other areas in IWD, not to mention the HoW and TotLM adventuring areas, and other scroll traders you will find in IWD/HoW/TotLM.

I know I have every spell AND MORE that I want for my Illusionist and Bard. The limiting factor will probably be your Mage's capacity to memorize different spells per level. Or, as Aerich intimated, your patience to wait till your party gets to them.

I take your word for it then, I'd rather not Shadowkeep as it makes the game feel a bit tainted.

Just finished the Vale of shadows and at least found a second magic missile

Well, IIRC, Orrick sells a Magic Missile scroll, and his little goblin servant carries another - you can kill him at no loss to you. Of course, I'm a little too late with this information.

BSG, really? I tried picking his pocket, but got nothing. Oh well, maybe next time I'll kill him (Orrick doesn't care?).

Before going to DE be sure to buy all the scrolls you might be interested in from Orrick. When you come back he will have a second copy of many of the useful ones (Mirror Image comes to mind - although with the necromancer you can't use that one).

I'm just about to head off to DE. I'll buy all the scrolls and pickpocket everyone before leaving. Progress is very slow with all the walking around Kuldahar, insane difficulty (had to lower difficulty for the final battle against verbeegs and priests with hold person), and only about an hour a day to spend on the game.

My bard could learn MI, couldnt he? Otherwise he seems to be a bit of a mistake, our party doesnt really do that much of melee (A paladin and a Fighter that will dual to druid at lvl 13 are the only ones to focus on close combat).

What I need now is a good old fireball. The thief will soon gain evasion Where will I come across that scroll?
