Malavon escaped . . . HELP PLEASE

I have 6 badges but one of them is a duplicate, and I can't find Malavon again. I killed his double and the golems & umberhulks by leaving the room and re-entering. Malavon does not re-appear. Also, Nym dimension doored away and I can't find him either. Any solutions? Thanks!

Well, if he is gone for good, try either:

A) Loading an earlier savegame and trying to kill him again.

B) If you cannot defeat him again or you are too lazy to try again, locate an editor that will allow you to add his badge to your inventory, I suggest starting your search at the Ironworks Icewind Dale section.

I must admit that on a previous attempt, Malavon took a right beating, and I thought to myself "Brilliant! I'm getting the hang of it." It was not to be, as I waited over a quarter of an hour for something to happen, but the real Malavon never turned up.

My advice: copious tears, and a previous save

Sorry, but that's the best of it without an editor.

How did you manage to leave his hideout if you haven't killed the real one? I found myself stuck in there - which is why I reloaded.
