am i being really stupid????

i've finished the dragons eye, got hartstone gem, been back to see arundel, who died after telling me what to do next. the problem is, my map hasnt changed, and arundel said i'd know where to go next to find the elf. since there are no new places on my map, where do i go for the next quest???

Well unfortunately, you probably are being really stupid. Dont let that get you down, we are all really stupid at one time or another... On the map screen click on the down arrow to scroll the map down. Your next area is at the very bottom of the map.

erm, tried that mate - nothing there - i aint that dumb - lol. any other suggestions?

You have to scroll WAAAY down, its there trust me. I have the guide book and when I came to that point it said scroll down. I did that and even thought the book was wrong that my game was messed up. The severed hand is a long way down there, keep clicking scroll until it stops. Your not being stupid I think it has happened to us all. I dont know why the designers did that. I figure they originally had more stops before the Hand but they didnt make the final version.

You can also "grab" the map itself and drag it around to where you want instead of using the scroll button.
