Bill Clinton is getting $12 million for his memoirs. His wife Hillary got $8 million for hers.

That's $20 million for memories from two people who for eight years
repeatedly testified, under oath, that they couldn't remember anything.

God Bless America.

Reagan testified he couldn't remember anything either and he's revered forever -- and got good money for "in his own words." What about Ollie North-- turns out his reward is a TV gig.

Moving more broadly (pun intended), what about that train wreck called the Anna Nicole Smith show? Rewarded for being a dumb gold-digging porn queen??

Good one, Sir T! I guess one's memory is jogged when there are enough zeroes in the offer!

That's unfair Cloudy. Maybe they don't remember and just decided to use New York Times style of fact finding.

Question Mark

Who wouldn't sell their memoirs for as much money as possible? I would! *ka-ching*

But yes, compilations of memories after testimony rife with "I don't recall" is a real hoot!

The real question is are Bill and Hilarys memories actualy worth $20 mil?? IMHO 20c is a little to much to pay either of them to say anything.
