Well have you asked her yet?.

You've had a lot of good advice from the guys on the board.

One thing I've learned is that it's better to regret something you have done than something you haven't.

Remember, girls go for confidence, a bit of personality and humour.
it also helps if you can drive.

just ask the girl what she's doing at the weekend and then see if she wants to do something you're both interested in.(nb, this should not involve Star Trek or anything similar!).

I'll tell you something, when you do get a girl, lots of other ones will come running. As soon as I get into a relationship a sign seems to appear "get it here" Gaaahh!

Perhaps he's trying out a new gimmick. It's hard to forget the guy who refers to himself as we.

Perhaps he's insane, ho hum.
Well we think it's silly... oh, by 'we' I mean me personally, not members of the board or anything confusing like that.
We are inclined to agree, and by we I mean myself and I alone.

BTW-What you mean by confusing is all greek to me.

Perhaps I should refer to myself in third person, something like "Sigmar is here" or "Sigmar believes that...". I wonder how long that'll take to get old

BlackDragon, be frank and ask her if she would be interested in going out with you. If you're getting the vibe than it's best to dare a little.

Bob Dole always refers to himself in the third so it should be alright to say that... a little strange thow and would probably scare away any prospective dates

My approach is a little more direct like some others here. Just say something and the intent turns into the attempt to open lines of comunications anyway. Take the chance!

You guys would laugh at me if you heard how I met my wife. -The words were corny and the approach was rough. I was harboring butterflies in my stomach but did managed to get some words out- "Do you have the time"

HeH! Lucky for me she did.

Yeah me too, the original, not any of the newer ones.

Strangely though this is never an immediate topic of conversation with "The Ladies!"

Well, David, if you haven't noticed, we... urgh em... I was going to ask her today, I swear on it, but my stalker (her best friend) came up to me and asked me right before I asked her, I of course.. considering I like her friend not her, plus she's annouying... said no. Yes I know, your not supposed to, but I did, I said no, she was rejected, and the worst part about it, is Erica, the girl I have been waiting all day to ask out to a movie, (yes that was my genious plan) was right there when I rejected her... That blows, it ruined my whole day, cause how could I ask her after rejecting her best friend right in front of her...? HOW YOU TELL ME.. HOW?! Well, to make matters worse, she kept insisting I tell her why I said no. I told her cause I didn't want to, but she wouldn't accept that, so she kept on bugging me, for a half an hour this bugging and nagging went on, then I flipped... I lost control, and said some things I would've never said if I would've been controlling my temper. But you can only hold it for so long you know? Enough is enough, and she didn't realize that, so, I upset her with some of the reasons I gave her, she ran off to someone else weeping and crying, like I was the bad guy, but if she would've just accepted the first answer I gave her about 50 times, she wouldn't have had to hear me shout out why I said no, and trust me. I said, "-=-"

I am sorry, I cannot repeat what I said on here, I do not wish to offend anyone, so I had to edit this cause of what I said, it said all of what I said to her... It wasn't pretty.
