So, like I'm plodding along like for an egg mine A-Ahha or some such thing and I find a guy looking for his lost friend...I find the friend who won't budge and is reluctant for me to kill the creatures he's watching..I dutifully go create a spell to hide him (though it doesn't last long enough really) and get him back to his buddy..why did I do that??? I dunno what would happen if I just killed all the creatures...I just felt like doing it *the hard way*, but wondered what sick fool I really was I surely wasn't rewarded to make up for the cost of the spell, but heck....

oh, thats so cute!

i actually came from the other direction and found all the critters first. and of course, being mating season, they were doing their territorial thing and attacking me. i had them all killed long before i ran into the "naturalist" and his buddy who thot his friend was lost.

that's a pretty cool way to do it, stcardgeek! its nice seeing how many different ways things can be done in this game.

Yah, I really liked the idea that even though it was a hassle to do it, it felt right....and hopefully one day I'll be rich enough the $500 i spent on a one time use spell won't hurt

OOps. Great thinking stcardgeek. I didn't even think about trying to help him leave the area quietly or hidden. I just killed all of the Kigouti and marched him back to his friend. I didn't even think about trying to give him his book back until later...after I sold it. I'm afraid I'm not a very noble knight

I THINK it's on the little hill between where the two of the men were found. It's been a while, but aren't there rather large mushrooms around there? I think it was under that shadow of one of the mushrooms. Anyway. It's there, you just may have to look a bit. I found the book first, then the first guy looking for his friend, then the Kugouti, then the friend, so the whole adventure, of course, turned out quite differently for me.

Cool. I guess I didn't miss anything. Another thing I don't have to wonder about. Thanks
