You put this in your sig. (replace the "()" by "[]") :

(img)http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/noncgi/smiles/hero2.gif(/img)

With "[]" it gives :

Edit my post if you want to be sure.

you have to put the whole line there.

[Image Tag] Picture address [Close Image Tag]

[ img ] http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/hero2.gif [ /img ]

Similar to that, but without ANY spaces. If you see the picture you want, just right click on it and select properties. It will show an address. Just highlight it by click dragging over the words at address, and then press < CTRL > < C >. That will copy the address. Then you just put that address where you see the words, http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...iles/hero2.gif < CTRL > < V > will past it in there.

Once you get the format correct, the way that you put it into your signature file is going to the top of the page and finding the link titled profile. You need to type in your user name and password and click accept or whatever is listed there. This will take you to your profile page where your signature is listed. You go to the tab field beside signature and then you can paste that in there. Whenever you use your signature, it will come up. You can use that same procedure to add a graphic to your file if you like too. You can get a basic idea of how to do this by editing someone's message that has the basic format you want and then seeing how they did it. Signature's usually will have dashes to separate them from the main text.

my signature

Good luck to you. It's a little awkward at first, but after you do it for awhile, it gets to be second nature.

Thank You this could be alot of fun !!
as I said mostly I'm self taught when it comes to any kind of programing. I did go to school to learn electronics and I can fix the damn things but the
programing can get a little confusing at times but I'll catch on to the tricks
maybe I should take a couple classes then I may even learn the correct way to
program. what would the students think about a 50 year old Viet Nam Vet in there class? ha ha ha ha!!
