Independence day II is the best film you know?

Doubt there'll be a follow up.
Getting way to serious about the question, the aliens didnt seem to have FTL tech which means we wont have been able to salvage it. Given that there would be no reason for another alien craft that size to be in the area, the most the aliens can throw at us would be smaller craft like they used at Roswell. Therefore, unless they change things too much, theres no real room for a sequel. Course that woudnt stop them if they really wanted to. TO be honest Independece Day depended too much on effects, so I dont think a sequel would be popular these days when every film has effects as good or better.

no, i'm pretty sure there will not be a sequel. they probably would have made it already. and by the way, Independence Day was awesome!!!!!
