Let us dispense with the bad news, kind and gentle people... I am back... no use complaining about it... you'll just have to deal with it... mwahahaha...
Anyhow, much thanks to RudeDawg and a few others whom I do not recall off the top of my head who tried mightily to talk me through fixing my 'puter. Turns out I was the victim of a defective hard drive. Bought a new one and a new video card and I'm back in the saddle, er, dungeon again. I did a search and found where dear ol' Charlie had clued me into a site to download the collector's edition bonus cd items. Unfortunately, the site no longer (apparently) exists. Anyone know of another such site so that after Jan collects the deposit on his turnip beer bottles we can buy that spiffy sling +27 or whatever it was? If not, I suppose I will just buy the collector's edition... tried to nick it from the Ironworks Shop... hide in shadows failed, Memnoch sicced Rikard on me and I'm currently begging a priest of Lathander to lay hands upon my seriously singed buttocks... So, there you have it... the bad news... Actually, come to think of it, there is no good news... you shall all have to suffer my incompetence once again... ------------------ {Next time I send some damned fool, I'll go myself...} |
