dafan, that's one hell of a Tank-heavy party you've got there. Has it been difficult playing with no Thief and only half a Mage?

Jan has the funniest dialogues with the pompous self-righteous sorts (Anomen, Jaheira, Edwin, Viconia and such).

The only annoying thing about him is his constant ranting about turnips.

Six - I *think* I understand why not to mix Keldorn/Anomen, but I don't see the problem. Care to enlighten me?

Anomen recieves a rather raw deal if you recruit Keldorn, who does his overbearing best to advise and counsel Anomen through his Test by pointing out his many flaws. Anomen in turn bites back arrogantly. I think it's only a good idea not to mix Keldorn and Anomen if Anomen has failed his Test of Knighthood, in which case the tension between the two becomes unbearable. Expect swords to be drawn. If Anomen becomes Sir Anomen, he apologises to the old knight and the two get on a little better.

Just as I thought then

I'm of the opinion that if you're going to let Anomen fail his test then Keldorn isn't really the right person for your group. I've never had any problems with the two of them and, in fact, I always considered that Keldorn was good for Anomen (as a paternal influence). On top of that, they do have some good banter.

it seems that keldorn doesn't get much credit as a tank. once you get gauntlets of dexterity and carsomyr on him, he becomes brutal. his instant truesight ability is a must for me, too.

this party seems to have the most roleplaying fun for me.
imoen (i would rather have jan for power, but imoen is a bhaalspawn)
aerie (mage/priest's should be illegal, love interest)
jaheira (love interest, but unlike aerie, i find jaheira to be a pretty useless druid)
minsc (duel wielding warhammer tank of destruction and comic relief)
keldorn (space reserved for npc quests, but once those are done, i stick with keldorn cuz he is a beatstick)

My best party every for me was

Me (sorcerer)
Korgan
Minsc
Jahiera
Nalia/Imoen
Anomen

Most people dont like Nalia, but i just kept her after her quest and she worked good. I had Minsc with 2 long swords in the front, Korgan with an axe and shield next to him, my sorcerer towards the middle with Jahiera using a scimitar/club and shielf, and Nalia/Imoen using bows and daggers/short swords and Anomen with a sling and a mace and shield. this may not seem like a good combo, but they worked one hell of a wonder lol
