Comebacks....

Okay well as most of us know... Bullies rule my school and take up most of the popularity chart. Well I've realised I am tired of puting up with people who seem to never have anything better to do then make fun of me and put me down and insult me.Well I decided that I am to going to let it go on. I've taken emotional blow after emtional blow and never seem to fight back about this, well I've never really been able to come up with good comebacks for his insults so.... anyone have any idea for comebacks to random insults or links to good comeback websites? I am not a fighter,but am willing to go there if the consequences were nothing(My stupid school gets us in trouble even when we don't fight on school grounds.Grrr) Thanks guys in advance. Well,hhmmmm....I would need to here the insult to really be able to come up with something. I do have great respect for people who stand up for themselves. I was teased highly for my weight untill one day I just poped a guy in the nose (like grandpas always tell you to do), layed him out on the floor, and told everyone around me in the hall that I had had enough and anyone who wanted to talk about please bring it on. This was 9th grade. I left school later that year, but never had a problem after that. Good luck to ya.

Well personally I can't help all that much as I was in the "Popularity chart" in my highschool days, but i've always heard the best thing is to just ignore them and try not to react. Don't give them the satisfaction of taking the bait.

do you know any other languages apart from English? if you do, then you'll have a lot of non english words to strike back at them. this would give you satisfaction as you now have the upper hand.

Well, you can always say, "If you must bray like a donkey please do it outside." or if you prefer to insult the person's intelligence "I find your taunts insipid." These usually invoke fights, so remember do not hit back-that will really insult the person.

Hehe, I remember that day, though it happened to me in the 8th grade, and the guy I nailed said and I quote "What did you do that for?" All talk and no show, typical [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Doesn't matter how burly, witty or aggressively arrogant a bully is, just kick him as hard as you can in the nuts and he'll drop like everyone else.

It doesn't matter if you do or do not counter insults. Talking back only makes it more interesting. I'm afraid the only way to get through to such people is the way of pain. So there are two paths you can take.
One is to tell teachers, your parents, the other person's parents and anyone else who wants to hear what's going on. This is the hard way, but eventually it will work, and with far less consequences. If you're threatened, don't let it stop you. In some cases this may actually lead to fights, in which case you can take a shortcut to the easy path.
Which is to stand up to them. Hit them, and hit 'em hard. Preferably before they hit you. If you want to be honorable, tell them you're fed up and are going to hurt them now. Otherwise just kick/punch. Doesn't matter if you 'win' or not, as long as you inflict pain. Make sure they have something to look forward to the next time you're made fun of. 'Cheap shots' are great value for money, by the way.
Personally, I'd advise talking to others about it rather than kicking and punching, but that depends on the person and the situation.

If knives or guns are involved, you really want to avoid a fight. Really. Inform people who can do something about it, and make sure something is done. Likewise, if you find them waiting for you outside and they have knives on them, turn back and inform a grown-up. That stuff is just too dangerous.

I'm not a big fan of school violence, but if it will keep you from holding anger inside until there's a Columnbine-type head explosion, by all means pop him in the nose. A week's detention is very little in comparison to the rest of your life....
