Well,ok.. so that won't work. How about made to stand in the corner?? No? hmmm... let's try "Wait til your father gets home!!"
Naw... too patriarchal.

Oh what the heck... let's all just have a drink and celebrate friendship from around the world!! BRAVO IRONWORKS for bringing us all together!

I'd just like to add a small comment:

Remember we are people from AROUND THE WORLD. We use English in here (mostly ), and think we understand one another - but WE DON'T! Not fully, anyway.
We have different cultures, different ways of thinking, different ways of doing and saying things. What is ok to one person may not be to another.
Don't be quick to take offence! ASK, before you get angry, whether someone meant what you thought they meant. Chances are, they didn't! (And yes, I DO speak as one who knows, lol!)

Good point, Fljotsdale! I know that I've read some things that I considered offensive although nobody else noticed anything (cultural differences) and I've probably posted some things that are offensive to others without meaning to (one of the things that springs to mind is the difference between the meaning of the word socialism as it is used in America as opposed to Europe). I hope that we can all be tolerant enough to recognize these misunderstandings as what they are.

IW is definitely a great place. It's the reason I am still here after a year and some change. Many of the board members helped to brighten up a day for me when I was really depressed, and I tried to be there for others as well. We've become a great community. All forms of society have problems, and I am sure that we will fix our own. I just wanted to thank Dan for starting this place, but I also want to thank everyone for being there when I so desperately needed someone. EVERYONE has been great.

Ironworks is the best of all boards because it has the best of all people participating in it. I have met many great folks who like to have a good time, and then share it for an even better one. I have even met someone here who has melted a hole in the armor I had placed around my heart. (You know who you are, you petite purloiner of palpitations )
I have done a bit of pot-stirring with dynamite myself, and with the red haze of inflamed emotion gone, can see clearly what a poor choice it was. The great thing about this place is that I was given the opportunity to see for myself what a moron I sounded like. Now, I ask you, where else would they let you find out on your own that you were posting like a moron? Without bashing or banishing? IRONWORKS RULES - And I'll flame anyone who says different! (just kidding )
