OK, something just occurred to me.
I looked at the who's currently posting page. I saw the record attendance was the afternoon of 11th September. I'm no genius, but I can work out the reason for this. People were checking in here - to make sure their online friends were OK - to gather, as people do after disasters - to take stock - to be somewhere familiar - to be somewhere safe. That is what Ironworks is about. I bet no-one checked in last Tuesday thinking they would flame, or argue, or be nasty. Ironworks isn't the place for that.
