I heard about there's some items (which are really hard to find such as ring of wizardy and ring+1) hidden in bushes, rocks, below the trees.. But if you install a patch ring of wizardy disapeears?! it happens with every item?? when to install the patch? and one more question, let's say that you cannot install or find TOSC, and you install a xp cap remover. can you go up to levels 10 and above? does game crash? any experiences about that? thank ya..
one more thing, it there too many other "hidden and impossible to find items" like these? if yes, can you spoil me a little bit? thank ya again

i have TOTSC installed without any patches and i have no problem finding the ring of wizardry and other hidden items. it has been awhile since i last played so i can only tell you where to find the wiz ring.
but i want you to do a little hunting yourself. **SPOILER** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** search around a tree to the south and a little to the east of the friendly arm inn. it will be there unless you have some goofy patch that eliminates it. |

I like that these sorts of games impose an XP ccap. Otherwise very sad people would go around literally for YEARS just killing kobolds and suchlike until they had reached Level 25 Mage Tank or something and only THEN continue with its main plots. I think that Bosses need to challenge players. Why play if you can easily defeat them with a single spell to strip their flesh from their bones?
