After having to wipe my hard drive (again), I was in the process of re-installing SoU when I realised that its CD-Key had been rubbed off the cover of the manual. So... is there somewhere where I can get some form of replacement, or will I have to purchase the game again ?

If you registered your keys on the Bioware forums then you can retrive your keys from there. Just go into your Account Settings and there should be an option there to retrieve your CD Keys.
If you didn't your pretty much stuffed though you can try contacting Atari (though they are never much help and will probably tell you to you need to buy it again)

They're also stored in a plaintext file within your NwN directory on the (admittedly slim) off-chance you backed it up to preserve your save games.

I can go one better than this. I bought a copy of NWN and Shadows of Urentide and during the install procedure the game asks for your CD keys from the manual.
My sealed copies didn't come with a manual. Nice one Virgin
