Is A770 a monitor brand? I ran a program called powerstripe and it detected my monitor as such but this may just be the standard plug and play detection. The thing is I have no idea what model my monitor is since It's kinda old and I have lost any documentation I did have. Are there any programs I could download that would scan and tell me? This way I could finally find drivers for it and select over 60hz.

Hiya SpiritWarrior. Still playing around with your monitor and graphic card? Me too! There are several ways to check. Sorry if this sounds lame but have you checked the back of the monitor? Try the Device Manager section when you do a property check on My Computer. Try also doing a Display Property check. Click on the monitor tab. I believe you have a Nvidia card. Use that new Nvidia desktop manager thingy and play around on all the tabs & what nots. Maybe one of them will give you a hint what the monitor manufacturer is.
I notice you have Powerstrip. Did you get it at 3Dchipset.com site? Look for a program called RefreshForce to download. That might help you but not sure. |
