Guys, I've been wondering about the Sword of Aihonen that you can have upgraded in Gloomfrost. If my memory serves me correctly, you can't go back to Easthaven after you've left, unless you want to get a shoeing from the big bad wolf, that is. So, how do you get the sword back in the first place? Or, is it that you cannot go back if you've placed all of the badges in their correct receptacles?

Answers on a postcard please.

Only way is to import the character holding the sword into another game.

Thanks JR. Is this intentional madness, 'cause if so, why'd they bother making the sword upgradeable in the first place? I understand that you can get it back when you go to Easthaven for the end game (at least I would imagine that's where you pick it up from) so why allow some adaptations if it only works via importing the characters?

In the prologue you'll meet a 'strange blue skinned women'. Talk to the fisherman who is standing just above the boats. Then talk to that women again. She'll give you a broken sword. Give it to the fisherman. When you return to Easthaven in the later stages of the game, it will be fixed and the same fisherman will give it to you. Allthough he is now standing where that "blue skinned women' was before.
