I can actually use my desk again

...to addend my earlier statement...it's not the most beautiful thing in my life right now, to be sure, but it's very luxurious.

Stuttgart 1 - Boro 2. *cheers*

Finished school, a nice week off, and a sleep in tomorrow. Should be good.

I fixed my iPod the old fashioned way. I hit it hard with my hand, and it worked *beams*

My Chemistry teacher claimed I specifically needed to listen, even though I got the third highest in a test we did (A pathetic 12/25). So I showed her by being one of two people to get 7/7 in a mini test. That shut her up.

Got 4 x half hour maths papers for the holidays. Homework sucks.

Edits: I noticed in the Cafe I never talk about one thing, I just put down short details of the day/week. Pretty crappy post, but who cares, it's the end of the week for me

End of the weeeeek? It's THURSDAY! I still have three homework assignments to finish and 300 miles to drive, and $100 to spend before my week is done!

Okay, I'm just jealous.

Woohoo!

I got 1st place at the weightlifting meet! I blew everyone in my weight division away. I ended up on 320 on squat, 210 on bench, and 400 on deadlift. It was awesome. I got a plaque for "Outstanding Squat". AND as a team we got 1st place, without our other lifters. It was their fault they couldn't go, because a lot of them wouldn't put enough effort into their grades. Our strongest lifter, Trent, was being a total prick since he couldn't come and was going "Yeah you guys probably won't get first since I'm not gonna be there." Tomorrow after we hang our fourth plaque up, we're putting a note that says "Won without Trent." to knock his ego down a few notches.

Thanks to those who wished us good luck, I appreciate it. Probably the best part was finding out I was the strongest guy there out of the kids, even the heavyweight division guys. I had a lot of fun lifting, and I can't wait for the next one we have coming up in March.

Good job, Andrew! way to go, man. 210 lbs...sheesh, I can only imagine myself being that stout, and that was your lowest!

Grats SomeGuy, very nicely done. Ah, I remember my weight lifting days. 12 oz. curls are really hard...Especially after about 4 hours.
Actually, while I never really got into it, I did lift some weights here and there, and I think my best bench ever, weighing in at a relatively trim 185, was 265. My, but I was a lot younger then...

Ok, valentines day has come and gone, people have posted about it, and the subject has changed.

Well I've only just recovered from a mild concussion I suffered on valentines day, and I really wanted to share some of the more romantic moments of my day.

So here it is;

Woke up, called my boyfriend, said happy valentines day, got dressed up in the outfit I put together the night before.

Toasted a bagle, and got a call from my bf, on the bus and would be with me shortly. Buttered the bagle, and went back to my room, started lighting the fifty or so candles I'd set out the night before. (one big heart shape and a few others scattered around for effect)

Had just finished, and heard Alex letting himself in the front door, lept into bed to cover my outfit up, and blew out half the freshly lit candles.

Que me telling alex not to come in while I finished getting ready, relighting the candles and climbing slowly into bed, and pulling the covers over so he'd not see what I was wearing.

After he picked his jaw off the ground when he saw my outfit he gave me a card, home made, a kitty face made enterly from hearts, and a msg of love in japanese.

Then another card, this one had a picture of two kittens sleeping next to each other, surounded by love hearts.

Then a collagé, made from bits of things alex had collected since we started seeing each other, mostly cut into love hearts, and he could name each peice, and there are lots and lots of bits. It had the words cut out letter by letter, wishing me a happy valentines day, love from alex.

Later we went outside, because it was raining, and we thought kissing in the rain would be romantic, and we got a nice surprise, a perfect rainbow right across the sky, (our first kiss(my very first kiss) was under a rainbow), and so we thought it a sign, and had a long kiss in the rain, under the perfect rainbow.

Then as we dashed back inside because we where cold I headbutted a wall, with the top of my skull.

the rest of the day is rather blury still, but there was lots of cuddling.

It was very romantic, a day that I will treasure the rest of my life.
