If you are in high-school then the popularity mentality can be a big deal. Once you're out of that ferment-pit of competitive insecurity you'll find that being yourself and relating to people on a base, human level becomes alot easier. Basically, people 'grow up' alot once they are shoved out of the artificiality of school and into the real world where being genuine really does matter. Grit your teeth and hang in there (and whatever you do, don't watch too many of those ridiculously misleading teen movies. They'll rot your brain lad! ).

Hehe, another one of these topics..

I personally dont go searching out for female friends. I figure it will happen when it needs too.

Kind of like fishing actually, throw yuor reel out and something will happen. Sometimes your the fish, sometime your the fisherman.

If no one likes you because your unpopular, their cheap and shallow anyway. I woudlnt worry too much about it.

I agree with Neb and Iron-Ranger

Hang in there like the others have said, but if you should meet someone special now who likes you despite your "unpopularity", chances are, you've just found a real gem
