Does anyone know the three digit combination to the door at the Trang Power Station? I am bored, do not want to ascend, and want to go in these to see what is up. Also, does anyone know what the switch on the wall does with the three green bars?

Thanks

If I recall correctly 7-4-0

I don't think that switch does anything. I always flip it, tho'. Doesn't the sign on it say it needs to be fixed?

Got in. THanks. That might come in useful in a later game.

The switch activates/deactivates the gas trap on the door. If you put in the wrong combo the gas trap hits you when you try to open it.

Which is the easiest training in the game. If you have Iron Will it'll max in about ten-twenty minutes of clicking with the numbers set wrong. That's not the door to the power station (and the power station is pointless, too). Anyway, there's just the Mindblast Rod in there. And a fight if you try to take it 'normally'.

If the t'rang power station is the northmost room in lower martens bluff, it isn't pointless. If you want to destroy the t'rang ship, you need to use the switch in there.

it's not the room with the cypher lock. But yeah, i sit corrected, though few who play for "completeness" need it, as the Alliance is a much more complete game than blowing up the ship allows for, and those who play just to ascend don't need to do anything at all for the Umpani.

It's just role-playing reasons. In rare games, i only ally with one side, killing the others. Once i played 'kill them all'. The normal game is with the alliance, since it provides many XP.
