A really coll, Dell laptop.
As an independent builder, I salute Dell on this rig. Why? Because it is cool. AND, check out the OS! All of you other penguin army troopers, UNITE!

Hey, they are nice but as I looked at the specs they didn't list anywhere USB, S Video and other ports. I would have liked to have seen the ability to add another gig of RAM but there is only so much space.

This is not really geared for what you ask, but it does have USB located on the side. Another gig of ram? Surely you jest. Linux on 512MB is like that OS from Redmond on 4 Gigs.

Re: A really coll, Dell laptop.
I was looking at it from a Windows XP offering. I really don't know anything about Linux.

whooo
I love these cheap laptops that are being made I still kinda like the ee pc but, this looks nice too . It'll be fun when apple joins in this mini laptop race, that way people will be more compelled to make...BETTER mini's . This may be a beginning in a new generation of computing (or not )

For surfing, word processing and the likes, these small laptops are great. Cheap and mobile.

Seriously the netbook bandwagon is starting to become frightenly huge. It seems that everyone wants a piece of the pie, although the Eee PC still remains my personal favorite.
