It really is. It takes hours (hours!) to load my three minute project. Which wouldn't be much of a problem, if only the damn program wouldn't crash regularly. To make matters worse, the drain on my CPU is such that I have to switch computers to continue working while it loading (or: checking my 'project files'). Can anyone recommend a similar (free) program?

Are you using Movie maker 1 or 2?
