TotSC zones ?

I installed TotSC after having started a regular BG game.
But with this game i don't seem to have access to the new zones...do I have to finish regular BG first or ?

I was told it's unecessary but...I just can't find Ulgroth Beard (bad spelling).

What should I do ?

To find ulgoths beard you need to go straight north and east. it is above the friendly arm inn, east of baldur's gate. You dont need to beat the game to get there you just need to travel off the tops of all the maps inbetween. I personally like the cloak of displacement and ring of invisibilty.

I tried to zone from the top north farm to the East and nothing appeared.
I tried to zone from the north bandit camp to the North and nothing appeared.

so *shrug*

I found a weird way to have finally access to Ulgoth Beard :

I started a new game (with TotSC installed now), in this game UB appears on the map (even if it's not reachable yet).

So i copied the file worldmap from this new game save to my real savegame and then I had access to UB ! Bad point though : all the zones i visited dont appear anymore on the map (eh it's the map of a starting game). Though in these zones, fog of war is gone where it should be.

Weird, annoying, but still better than nothing

You don't go North from the Bandit Camp, you go North from Wyrm's Crossing (the bridge to BG City).

Correct.

But my problem was that UB was not even SHOWING on the map.

But I just foud the solution...there is a map converter (MCONVERT.EXE) on the BG folder.

Well...I made another thread for nothing

Ah, yes, the old MCONVERT problem. Luckily, you should only have to do that once: All games that you start after installing ToSC will show the ToSC areas normally.

This is covered in my site, but I forget which chapter it's in.
